The week in review at Accretion Flow

So we’re late…
The last few weeks have been rough; things bogged down between illnesses and life events. Nevertheless, we persisted. Aside from continuing to round out the core Lineages available to play in the game, we began working on the script for our first narrated short story, introducing one of several Lineages for the Earthborn Folktype, the human species in our world setting.
We’ll publish the print version of each short story here, along with a link to the accompanying narrated audio on YouTube.
Oh, and we found the name for our game! Honestly, we’re stoked; it encapsulates the essence of the characters that players will embody in our world.
Welcome to the world of…

The Pitch
A renaissance of heroic idealism has blossomed, driven by an unexpected peace. The grim darkness and the monsters lurking within have begun to recede, no longer isolating the gilded sanctuaries of mortal folk. Assume the role of one touched by Fate and marked for greatness. Will you embrace the light, embody the heroic ideals of legend, and fight to push the world further into the bright, or be tempted by darkness and drag it screaming back into the depths of depravity?
Create a character with a supernatural spark and ignite the flames of history; forge your Fate and, through your journey, become a Legend Forged.
The Setting
Gilded sanctuaries stand as isolated bastions of society against the undead Nobles and the supernatural beasts that dominate the landscape outside their mighty walls. One such Sanctuary, Starfjord, is a neo-gothic megacity comprised of stone and timber. A new age has dawned with peace between the Nobility and mortal folk. Amidst this renaissance, players assume the role of characters blessed by Fate and marked for greatness.
